Neonatologist - NICU Specialist – Dubai, UAEPosition Overview
WizeJob is seeking a skilled and compassionate Neonatologist to join our healthcare network in Dubai, UAE. This full-time position is ideal for a physician experienced in neonatal intensive care, dedicated to delivering critical medical support to newborns in the NICU. The Neonatologist will be responsible for diagnosing, monitoring, and treating premature or critically ill infants while offering comprehensive support to their families.

What You’ll Do
* Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and review medical histories to diagnose conditions in neonates
* Interpret diagnostic tests including bloodwork, imaging, and ultrasounds to formulate precise treatment plans
* Oversee NICU patient care, including prescribing medications, conducting medical procedures, and managing ventilation and nutritional
support
* Counsel and educate parents and caregivers about neonatal health, breastfeeding, safety, and recovery processes
* Work collaboratively with NICU nurses, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to deliver integrated care
* Participate in neonatal resuscitation and emergency response protocols when necessary
* Maintain detailed and compliant electronic medical records for all neonatal cases
* Stay current with advancements in neonatology and contribute to medical education within the unit
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatrics and Neonatology
* Completion of accredited Pediatric Residency and Neonatology Fellowship
* Board certification in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine
* Licensed or eligible to practice in the UAE (DHA/DOH/MOH)
* Minimum 3 years of post-fellowship experience in NICU or equivalent
* Proficiency in managing ventilated and critical care newborns
* Empathetic communicator with strong decision-making and diagnostic skills
* Committed to evidence-based care, team collaboration, and family support
