Patient Relations Representative – UAE National

As a Patient Relations Representative, you will handle front office functions, patient relations, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and financial transactions while ensuring a seamless patient experience. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Work at the front reception desk, answering phones, greeting, and assisting patients and providers
- Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments as needed
- Check in patients, verify demographic details, and complete registration procedures
- Ensure updated patient information and signed consent every six months as per hospital policy
- Explain and provide patients with their rights and responsibilities
- Conduct insurance verification and handle authorizations for procedures
- Inform walk-in patients about waiting times to enhance the customer experience
- Collect co-pays, cash payments, and process charges accurately in the system
- Liaise with the Insurance and Finance Departments to resolve billing and payment issues
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely resolution of financial matters

Required Skills and Experience

Education & Certifications
- High School Certificate or Degree from a recognized institution/university

Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Hands-on experience with insurance verification and cash handling

Technical Skills
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
- Proven computer skills, including familiarity with hospital or clinic management systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administration preferred
