Pediatric ENT Consultant - Otolaryngology Care in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a specialized Hospital and Health Care opportunity for a Western-trained physician experienced in diagnosing and treating ear, nose, throat, airway, sinus, hearing, and head and neck conditions in children. This role is suitable for a consultant-level pediatric ENT specialist with strong otolaryngologic surgical skills, patient-centered communication, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary pediatric care environment.
The position focuses on providing comprehensive medical and surgical ENT care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired conditions. The selected consultant will collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, pediatricians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, safe surgery, and long-term pediatric outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage pediatric ENT disorders, including congenital and acquired ear, nose, throat, sinus, airway, hearing, and related head and neck conditions
* Perform pediatric otolaryngologic procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery
* Provide consultations and second opinions for complex pediatric ENT cases requiring advanced clinical judgment
* Interpret diagnostic tests, including audiograms, CT scans, MRIs, endoscopic findings, and other relevant investigations
* Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, pediatricians, radiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
* Develop individualized medical, surgical, follow-up, and postoperative care plans for pediatric patients
* Educate children and families on diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and long-term care needs
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in line with DHA requirements, hospital policies, and clinical governance standards
* Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, departmental meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
* Supervise and mentor junior doctors, medical students, and clinical team members when applicable
* Support a safe, respectful, and child-friendly care environment focused on high-quality pediatric outcomes
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate is a Western-trained Pediatric ENT Consultant with strong post-specialization experience in pediatric otolaryngology and surgical ENT care. This role requires excellent diagnostic ability, confident operative skills, clear communication with families, and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary pediatric care.
* Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution
* Specialization in Otolaryngology or ENT
* Fellowship or Board Certification in Pediatric ENT is preferred
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience with a strong focus on pediatric cases
* Western training is required
* Valid DHA Consultant License or eligibility for Consultant ENT or Otolaryngology practice
* Strong experience in pediatric ENT diagnosis, surgical management, hearing-related conditions, sinus disease, and complex pediatric consultations
* Ability to interpret audiograms, CT scans, MRIs, and ENT-related diagnostic investigations
* Excellent communication, patient counseling, documentation, and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in English is required, and Arabic language skills are an advantage
* Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment
