Key Responsibilities
* Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centred nursing care within the approved
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs while keeping health, wellbeing, and safety as the top priority.
* Speak up immediately when patient safety, clinical risk, or care quality is a concern.
* Treat patients with kindness, respect, dignity, and compassion during every interaction.
* Work within professional competence and take responsibility for clinical decisions and nursing actions.
* Communicate clearly with colleagues to ensure patients receive safe, coordinated, and effective care.
* Support nursing teams in following approved standards, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain mandatory training requirements and complete relevant competency-based learning.
* Follow the NMC Nurse Competency Matrix and role-specific clinical framework.
* Perform essential life support duties within regulatory requirements and clinical scope, including Basic Life Support and other required certifications.
* Participate in the development and improvement of clinical standards, nursing procedures, and care protocols.
* Facilitate evidence-based practice and support improvements in nursing care delivery.
* Promote safe learning environments for nursing staff and support training, education, and CQI activities.
* Identify opportunities for clinical improvement and help implement changes when required.
* Work across departments when necessary and perform additional professional duties within scope and ability.
Ideal Profile
* Licensed or eligible Registered Nurse under the relevant UAE regulatory health authority.
* Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
* Proven experience managing nursing teams or supporting clinical staff in a healthcare setting.
* Ability to influence, guide, and implement change when required.
* Strong decision-making skills with clear and effective communication.
* Good understanding of UAE nursing code of conduct, scope of practice, licensure requirements, and patient safety standards.
* Commitment to mandatory training, professional re-licensure, and ongoing clinical development.
* Experience supporting evidence-based practice, staff education, and continuous quality improvement activities.
* Ability to work professionally across departments and adapt to changing clinical requirements.
* Clear spoken and written English communication skills.
