Role Context
This position supports patients requiring clinical nursing assistance and specialised laser procedures within a modern outpatient setting. Combining both responsibilities allows the clinic to provide coordinated treatment without compromising patient safety, comfort or continuity of care.
The nurse will be accountable for appropriate device use, accurate documentation and close monitoring before, during and after treatment. Consistent adherence to infection control and equipment maintenance standards will protect patients and support reliable clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires careful patient assessment, confident treatment delivery and clear communication throughout the care process.
* Provide safe, efficient and compassionate nursing care.
* Perform laser treatments according to approved clinical protocols.
* Follow manufacturer instructions and DHA laser safety requirements.
* Explain treatment plans, expected results and possible side effects.
* Give patients clear pre-treatment and post-treatment care guidance.
* Monitor patient responses during and after procedures.
* Arrange appropriate follow-up and support continuity of care.
* Maintain a clean treatment area aligned with infection control standards.
* Operate laser equipment safely and report technical concerns.
* Follow preventive maintenance schedules for clinical devices.
* Record nursing care and laser treatments accurately and promptly.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Ideal Profile
Applicants must hold a bachelor\'s degree or diploma in Nursing and have at least two years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
The following credentials are mandatory:
* Valid DHA Registered Nurse licence
* Valid DHA Laser Technician licence
* Certification in Laser Applications
* Valid Basic Life Support certification
The successful candidate should possess strong clinical assessment skills, careful attention to detail and the ability to explain procedures clearly. Previous experience with ND:YAG, Alexandrite or Q-Switched laser systems is preferred.
Candidates must be capable of building patient trust, solving clinical problems and managing several responsibilities within a fast-paced outpatient clinic.
