What Does a Registered Nurse Do?
As a Registered Nurse at Al-Futtaim’s state-of-the-art clinics, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical areas. You will work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that meets the highest international standards, while also supporting patients with empathy and professionalism.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical protocols and DHA standards
- Support physicians in examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Monitor patient condition and promptly report any changes to the medical team
- Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and attention to safety
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using clinic information systems
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and wellness practices
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment
- Support clinic workflows including triage, health assessments, and emergency response
What Qualifications Are Needed for a Nursing Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
Licensing & Certification:
- DHA License or Eligibility as a Registered Nurse (mandatory)
- BLS certification (mandatory); ACLS or PALS is a plus
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a practicing RN in a clinical setting (preferably at an accredited facility)
Skills:
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and nursing documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
