Role Context
Outpatient clinics require nurses who can assess patients quickly, support medical procedures, and maintain dependable safety standards throughout each visit. This role will help physicians deliver efficient care while ensuring that observations, treatments, documentation, and discharge instructions are completed accurately.
The Registered Nurse will contribute to the daily operation of HealthHub JVC by combining hands-on procedural skills with compassionate patient communication. Effective nursing support will improve clinic flow, strengthen clinical outcomes, and create a positive experience for patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
The position will deliver direct outpatient nursing care while supporting physicians, procedures, patient education, and multidisciplinary coordination.
* Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care within the outpatient clinic.
* Assess patients and communicate relevant clinical observations to physicians.
* Assist doctors during examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures.
* Perform IV cannulation, venepuncture, and blood collection independently.
* Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient observations.
* Administer prescribed medication and treatment within the approved nursing scope.
* Support ECG procedures, clinical investigations, and treatment-room activities.
* Prepare patients, instruments, supplies, and clinical areas for procedures.
* Maintain accurate electronic medical records and nursing documentation.
* Follow infection-prevention, medication-safety, and patient-identification procedures.
* Protect patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, comfort, and safety.
* Explain treatment instructions, continuing-care requirements, and discharge guidance.
* Recognize changes in a patient\'s condition and escalate concerns promptly.
* Coordinate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
* Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, mandatory training, and professional development.
Ideal Profile
Applicants must hold a valid DHA Registered Nurse license and currently reside in the United Arab Emirates. A minimum of two years of professional nursing experience is required.
Previous experience in an emergency department, ambulatory-care service, outpatient clinic, day-surgery unit, or treatment room is essential. Candidates must be confident performing IV cannulation, venepuncture, independent blood collection, and structured patient assessments.
Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory. The successful candidate will demonstrate clinical confidence, organization, compassion, sound judgement, and the ability to remain effective in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
