Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist (Female)

As a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting ultrasound imaging procedures across various specialties, ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with medical imaging standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations across multiple areas, including general, abdominal, small parts, obstetrics/gynecology, Doppler, vascular, musculoskeletal, neonatal, and guided biopsies/aspirations
- Ensure compliance with infection control, risk management, and quality improvement protocols
- Assist in daily administrative duties within the Medical Imaging Department and ultrasound division
- Maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and accurate diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret results and provide insights for clinical decision-making
- Participate in hospital-wide training, in-service programs, and continuous professional development
- Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure safe and effective imaging procedures

Required Skills and Experience

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound/Medical Imaging (minimum three-year course duration)
- Active home country registration from the relevant medical council
- DHA License or DHA Eligibility with a positive Dataflow (PSV) report

Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in performing ultrasound imaging across various specialties
- Expertise in general ultrasound, abdominal imaging, small parts, obstetrics/gynecology, Doppler, vascular, musculoskeletal, neonatal, and guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and amniocentesis

Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques
- Ability to assess, monitor, and provide quality imaging results with precision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting
