What Does a Specialist Cardiologist Do?
As a Specialist Cardiologist, you will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of heart conditions using advanced diagnostic tools and best-practice treatment approaches. You will work within a collaborative and modern environment that values quality outcomes, innovation, and patient satisfaction.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and diagnostic procedures for cardiovascular conditions
- Interpret ECGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and other cardiac diagnostics
- Develop treatment plans and perform interventional procedures as required
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient management
- Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with DHA standards and clinic protocols
- Participate in continuous medical education, conferences, and internal training
- Promote preventive care and patient education on heart health
What Skills Are Required for a Cardiologist in Dubai?
Education:
- MBBS or MBChB or equivalent from an accredited medical institution
- Completion of a recognized specialist training program in Cardiology, DHA/HAAD/MOH approved
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of specialist-level experience in cardiology
- Competence in diagnosing and treating a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
Certifications:
- Valid DHA License or eligibility
- Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support
Skills:
