Role Context
The growing prevalence of cardiovascular disease creates continued demand for accessible specialist assessment, early intervention, and long-term outpatient management. This role will strengthen the cardiology services available through HealthHub Clinics while helping patients manage both immediate concerns and ongoing risk factors.
Referrals from family medicine, internal medicine, endocrinology, and primary-care physicians will support patient-base development and coordinated treatment. The Specialist Cardiologist will combine clinical expertise with strong patient relationships to improve cardiovascular outcomes across Dubai communities.
Key Responsibilities
The position will provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology services while contributing to multidisciplinary care, clinical quality, and practice growth.
* Conduct specialist cardiology consultations and detailed cardiovascular assessments.
* Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, routine, and complex cardiovascular conditions.
* Interpret ECG findings, echocardiography results, and other relevant cardiac investigations.
* Develop individualized and evidence-based investigation, treatment, and follow-up plans.
* Manage long-term cardiovascular disease through structured monitoring and continuing care.
* Establish preventive cardiology programs addressing modifiable risk factors.
* Educate patients about diagnoses, medication, lifestyle changes, and cardiovascular risk reduction.
* Provide clear counselling that supports informed decisions and treatment adherence.
* Collaborate with primary-care physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health teams.
* Build and maintain a loyal patient following through dependable clinical care.
* Maintain accurate, confidential, timely, and compliant medical records.
* Identify patients requiring hospital-based intervention or additional specialist services.
* Participate in clinical governance, quality-improvement programs, and continuing medical education.
* Follow applicable UAE licensing requirements, professional standards, and patient-safety procedures.
Ideal Profile
Applicants must hold a valid DHA license as a Specialist Cardiologist and have at least five years of post-specialist experience. Previous clinical practice in the UAE is required, together with substantial exposure to outpatient cardiology services.
The successful candidate will be confident managing both routine and complex cardiovascular cases, interpreting cardiac investigations, and providing long-term disease management. A demonstrated ability to establish trusted patient relationships and grow a specialist practice is essential.
Fluent English communication and excellent patient-engagement skills are required. Arabic language ability is advantageous, particularly when providing education and counselling to patients and families from different communities.
