The Specialist Dermatologist - Aesthetic Care will provide diagnosis, treatment, cosmetic procedures, and follow-up care for patients with skin concerns ranging from medical dermatology conditions to aesthetic improvement goals. This role supports a patient-focused clinic environment where accurate assessment, safe procedure planning, modern aesthetic techniques, clear communication, and strong clinical documentation are essential. Working in Abu Dhabi, the specialist will help improve skin health, patient confidence, treatment safety, and overall satisfaction through evidence-based dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive skin assessments for patients presenting with medical dermatology concerns, cosmetic needs, skin texture issues, pigmentation, acne, aging-related changes, or other skin conditions.
* Diagnose dermatological conditions and recommend appropriate medical, procedural, or cosmetic treatment pathways.
* Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient goals, skin type, diagnosis, medical history, safety considerations, and realistic outcome expectations.
* Perform medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures including laser therapy, chemical peels, Botox, dermal fillers, skin biopsies, and other approved clinic-based treatments.
* Provide expert advice on skincare routines, preventive care, sun protection, post-treatment recovery, product use, and long-term skin maintenance.
* Conduct aesthetic consultations with clear explanation of treatment options, expected results, procedure risks, downtime, and aftercare instructions.
* Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans according to patient progress, procedure outcomes, side effects, and follow-up findings.
* Maintain accurate patient records, consent documentation, procedure notes, treatment plans, clinical photographs where applicable, and follow-up summaries.
* Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, UAE healthcare standards, infection control practices, patient safety requirements, and ethical medical practice.
* Collaborate with nurses, therapists, clinic support staff, and other healthcare professionals to maintain smooth patient care and service quality.
* Stay updated with advancements in dermatology, laser technologies, injectables, aesthetic medicine, skin rejuvenation methods, and clinical safety standards.
* Support a fast-paced, patient-focused clinical environment by maintaining professionalism, empathy, efficiency, and high standards of care.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with specialization in Dermatology.
* Proven experience in both clinical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.
* Strong background in diagnosing and treating common skin conditions and delivering aesthetic procedures.
* Proficiency in laser technologies, injectables, chemical peels, Botox, fillers, skin biopsies, and aesthetic treatment planning is preferred.
* Experience in aesthetic consultations, patient assessment, procedure selection, and personalized skin care planning.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain treatments clearly and build patient trust.
