Role Summary
The Specialist Endocrinologist provides comprehensive healthcare to patients with hormonal and metabolic conditions, ensuring evidence-based diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The position also involves mentoring junior staff, participating in clinical research, and supporting Al-Futtaim Health’s mission to advance medical standards and patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide complete diagnostic and treatment services for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions.
* Review medical histories, conduct examinations, order and interpret laboratory tests, and recommend treatment plans.
* Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle management.
* Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment regimens, and document outcomes.
* Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for emergency endocrine cases.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and holistic patient care.
* Conduct clinical audits, research studies, and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.
* Guide and supervise junior physicians, nurses, and other medical staff.
* Stay current with developments in endocrinology through continuous medical education.
* Promote Al-Futtaim Health services and represent the organization in medical and public health forums.
* Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority and other relevant regulatory standards.
Candidate Requirements
* MBBS or MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited medical institution.
* Postgraduate specialization in Endocrinology approved by Dubai Health Authority or equivalent regulatory body.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Specialist Endocrinologist.
* Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS).
* Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare teams.
* Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
