What Does a Specialist Endocrinologist Do?
As a Specialist Endocrinologist at HealthHub by Al-Futtaim, you will deliver expert care to patients with a broad range of endocrinological conditions. Working alongside a collaborative team in a patient-centered environment, your role will focus on high-quality diagnostics, innovative treatment solutions, and continuity of care in a modern clinical setting.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Provide specialized consultation and care for patients with hormonal and metabolic disorders
- Diagnose and treat endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary issues, and osteoporosis
- Collaborate with other specialists across departments to ensure integrated patient care
- Participate in patient education and preventive care initiatives
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and follow-up records
- Contribute to multidisciplinary case reviews and continuous medical education
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in endocrinology and implement best practices
- Participate in training, conferences, and research when required
What Qualifications and Experience Are Required?
- MBBS or MBChB from a recognized institution
- Completion of specialty training in Endocrinology and certification recognized by DHA, HAAD, or MOH UAE
- Minimum 5 years of relevant specialist experience post-qualification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
- Valid DHA license or eligibility as Specialist Endocrinologist
- BLS and ALS certifications
