Role Context
The Specialist ENT Surgeon - OPD Care will support the growth of ENT services across HealthHub Clinics in Dubai by delivering specialist consultations, clinical decision-making, diagnostic interpretation, treatment planning, and coordinated patient care. The role has a direct impact on patient outcomes, referral quality, service line development, and the overall standard of specialist outpatient healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist ENT consultations in line with evidence-based medical standards, clinical protocols, and healthcare regulations.
* Diagnose and manage acute and chronic ear, nose, throat, sinus, allergy, hearing, voice, and upper airway conditions.
* Conduct detailed outpatient assessments and create appropriate short-term and long-term patient management plans.
* Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging investigations, audiology reports, and other diagnostic results.
* Prescribe safe and effective treatments, medications, and follow-up care plans according to clinical best practices.
* Perform minor ENT procedures in an outpatient clinic setting where clinically appropriate and within approved scope.
* Provide independent specialist opinions while maintaining ethical, patient-centered, and quality-driven care.
* Work closely with general practitioners, allied health professionals, nurses, and other specialists to improve care coordination.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records for all consultations, procedures, referrals, and treatment plans.
* Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, departmental development, and service line enhancement.
* Support medical education, mentoring, and clinical knowledge sharing within the healthcare team.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate should be a confident Specialist ENT Surgeon with solid outpatient experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work across multiple Dubai clinic locations. The role requires excellent patient communication, multidisciplinary collaboration, and proven competence across specialist ENT practice.
* MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
* Recognized ENT specialty qualification approved by DHA, HAAD, or MOH.
* DHA License or DHA Eligibility as a Specialist ENT Surgeon.
* Minimum 5+ years of specialist-level post-qualification experience.
* Strong OPD, ambulatory care, or multi-specialty clinic experience.
* Proven ability to manage a wide range of routine and complex ENT cases.
* Valid Basic Life Support certification is required.
* ACLS certification is an advantage.
* Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
* Arabic language skills are an advantage.
* Comfortable working across multiple clinic locations in Dubai.
