Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist in Intensive and Critical Care Medicine for a healthcare opportunity in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will provide advanced clinical management for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), delivering evidence-based care in complex and high-acuity situations.
The role requires strong expertise in advanced airway management, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, resuscitation, and invasive critical care procedures. The Specialist will work closely with multidisciplinary medical and nursing teams while contributing to patient safety, clinical governance, quality improvement, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
* Manage complex critical care cases, including sepsis, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, and trauma.
* Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring and provide ventilatory support.
* Perform and manage invasive procedures, including central venous catheterization, arterial line placement, and intubation.
* Lead resuscitation efforts and emergency critical care interventions.
* Collaborate with anesthesiology, emergency medicine, surgery, internal medicine, and other multidisciplinary teams.
* Develop and implement individualized critical care treatment plans.
* Maintain adherence to ICU protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety standards.
* Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and clinical case discussions.
* Supervise junior doctors, residents, and ICU nursing staff.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and ICU clinical governance.
* Maintain current knowledge of critical care guidelines, evidence-based practices, and developments in intensive care medicine.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
* Board Certification or equivalent specialization in Intensive Care or Critical Care Medicine.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting, with post-specialization experience preferred.
* Strong proficiency in advanced airway management and life-support procedures.
* Experience with mechanical ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
* Excellent clinical judgment and ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Strong communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
* Appropriate Specialist License or eligibility for specialist-level professional licensure in Dubai.
