This position is suitable for a DHA licensed or DHA eligible Specialist Neurologist who can manage acute and chronic neurological conditions, work across multiple clinic locations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support the continued development of neurology services in a growing outpatient healthcare network.

Role Context
The Specialist Neurologist - OPD Care will provide specialist-level neurological assessment and treatment within a multi-site outpatient clinic environment. The role contributes to better patient outcomes by supporting early diagnosis, accurate investigation review, long-term neurological care planning, patient education, and coordinated treatment pathways for patients with conditions affecting the brain, spine, nerves, and neuromuscular system.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive specialist neurology care in line with evidence-based clinical standards and approved healthcare protocols.
* Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological disorders through detailed clinical assessment, patient history review, and appropriate investigations.
* Perform neurological examinations and evaluate symptoms related to headaches, seizures, movement disorders, neuropathy, dizziness, memory concerns, stroke-related follow-up, and chronic neurological conditions.
* Interpret diagnostic investigations such as MRI, CT scans, EEG reports, laboratory results, and other relevant clinical findings.
* Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with acute, chronic, and complex neurological conditions.
* Prescribe medications, therapy plans, investigations, and follow-up care while ensuring safe and ethical clinical practice.
* Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and support long-term disease management where required.
* Collaborate with general practitioners, radiologists, physiotherapists, nurses, allied health professionals, and other specialists to improve care coordination.
* Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment options, medication use, lifestyle guidance, and follow-up requirements.
* Maintain accurate and timely medical records for consultations, investigations, prescriptions, treatment plans, and referrals.
* Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, service development, and multidisciplinary case discussions.
* Support patient pathway optimization across HealthHub Clinics by improving access to specialist neurology care.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate should be a confident Specialist Neurologist with strong outpatient experience, sound diagnostic judgment, and the ability to manage both routine and complex neurological cases. The role requires patient-focused communication, ethical medical practice, and the ability to work effectively across a dynamic clinic network.
* MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
* Recognized Neurology specialty qualification approved by DHA, HAAD, or MOH.
* DHA License or DHA Eligibility as a Specialist Neurologist.
* Minimum 5+ years of specialist-level post-qualification experience.
* Strong experience in outpatient neurology, ambulatory care, or multi-specialty clinic environments.
* Proven ability to diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions.
* Experience interpreting MRI, CT, EEG, and related neurological investigations.
* Valid Basic Life Support certification is required.
* ACLS certification is an advantage.
* Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
* Arabic language skills are an advantage.
* Patient-focused, ethical, quality-driven, and comfortable working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
