Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed obstetrics and gynecology consultations for patients requiring routine care, high-risk pregnancy support, fertility guidance, and women’s health assessment.
* Manage antenatal, natal, and postnatal care with close attention to maternal health, fetal wellbeing, patient comfort, and safe clinical outcomes.
* Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecologic conditions using evidence-based medical, procedural, and surgical approaches.
* Perform gynecological and obstetric procedures, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D and C procedures, colposcopy, and fertility-related interventions.
* Monitor high-risk pregnancies and coordinate care plans with midwives, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other hospital specialists.
* Provide clear Arabic communication to patients and families, ensuring treatment options, risks, recovery expectations, and care instructions are fully understood.
* Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, procedure documentation, consent forms, and follow-up plans in line with hospital standards.
* Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in departmental audits, CME programs, morbidity reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Support a respectful and reassuring care environment for women seeking maternity, fertility, surgical, and gynecologic services.
Ideal Profile
* Fluent Arabic communication skills, spoken and written, are required.
* Specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, such as Arab Board, MRCOG, or equivalent recognized certification.
* DOH, DHA, or UAE healthcare license eligibility is required.
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital, maternity unit, or women’s health clinic.
* Strong clinical background in routine and high-risk pregnancy care, gynecologic diagnosis, women’s health consultations, and obstetric emergencies.
* Proven surgical experience in cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D and C, colposcopy, and related gynecologic procedures.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a culturally sensitive approach to patient communication.
* Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a busy healthcare setting.
* Strong commitment to patient confidentiality, clinical documentation, ethical practice, and evidence-based care.
* Experience in a multicultural hospital environment is an advantage.
