Key Responsibilities
* Provide detailed obstetrics and gynecology consultations for women requiring routine care, pregnancy support, gynecologic diagnosis, fertility guidance, and postnatal follow-up.
* Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies with careful monitoring of maternal health, fetal wellbeing, clinical risks, and patient comfort.
* Perform obstetric and gynecological procedures, including Cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D and C, colposcopy, and fertility-related interventions.
* Deliver antenatal, natal, and postnatal care using evidence-based protocols and a patient-centered approach.
* Diagnose and manage common and complex women’s health conditions through appropriate investigations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
* Work closely with midwives, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, radiology teams, and other specialists to ensure integrated care.
* Communicate clearly with Arabic-speaking patients and families, explaining diagnosis, procedures, risks, treatment options, and recovery expectations with sensitivity.
* Maintain accurate medical records, consultation notes, consent documentation, procedure reports, and follow-up plans.
* Follow clinical protocols, patient safety standards, infection control guidelines, and hospital quality requirements.
* Participate in departmental audits, CME activities, clinical reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ideal Profile
* Fluent Arabic communication skills, spoken and written, are required.
* Specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, such as Arab Board, MRCOG, or equivalent recognized certification.
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital, maternity unit, or women’s health clinic.
* Strong surgical and diagnostic experience across obstetric and gynecologic practice.
* Proven ability to manage routine pregnancy care, high-risk pregnancy cases, postnatal care, and women’s health concerns.
* Skilled in performing Cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D and C, colposcopy, and related gynecological procedures.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a culturally aware and compassionate patient-care style.
* Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a busy healthcare environment.
* Strong commitment to evidence-based care, patient confidentiality, clinical documentation, and safe outcomes.
* Experience serving multicultural patient groups is an advantage.
