Role Context
The Specialist OBGYN will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care within a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role supports maternal health, fetal well-being, surgical care, patient confidence, and continuity of treatment by combining strong diagnostic ability, safe procedural practice, and effective collaboration with midwives, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and wider clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed obstetrics and gynecology consultations for women across prenatal, natal, and postnatal stages
* Manage routine pregnancies, high-risk pregnancies, antenatal assessments, delivery-related care, and postnatal follow-up
* Assess maternal and fetal well-being through clinical evaluation, diagnostic review, and evidence-based treatment planning
* Perform gynecological and obstetric procedures, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D and C, colposcopy, and fertility-related interventions
* Provide clear guidance to patients on pregnancy care, gynecological conditions, surgical options, recovery expectations, and preventive women’s health
* Collaborate with midwives, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists to support integrated care
* Maintain accurate patient records, consent documentation, treatment notes, and procedure details in line with clinical protocols
* Participate in departmental audits, CME activities, quality improvement programs, and clinical governance initiatives
* Communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking patients and families to ensure comfort, clarity, trust, and informed decision-making
* Promote safe, ethical, and patient-centered care across obstetric and gynecological services
Ideal Profile
* Fluent Arabic communication skills, both spoken and written
* Specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology such as Arab Board, MRCOG, or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital or women’s health clinic
* Strong surgical and diagnostic skills across obstetric and gynecological practice
* Experience in routine pregnancy care, high-risk pregnancy management, antenatal care, postnatal care, and women’s health consultations
* Confident ability to perform or support cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D and C, colposcopy, and fertility-related procedures
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a culturally sensitive and reassuring patient-care approach
* Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a busy clinical environment
* Strong commitment to patient safety, clinical quality, confidentiality, and evidence-based medical practice
