Role Context
The Al Karama clinic serves patients with acute illnesses, chronic diseases, multiple co-morbidities and ongoing preventive healthcare needs. The physician will take ownership of complex outpatient cases while building a dependable patient base through consistent clinical care and effective communication.
Close coordination with Family Medicine, General Practice, Paediatrics, Endocrinology, Cardiology and Gastroenterology teams will support timely referrals and integrated treatment across the HealthHub network.
Key Responsibilities
The physician will independently evaluate patients, interpret investigations and create practical treatment programmes suited to individual clinical needs.
* Conduct comprehensive specialist Internal Medicine consultations.
* Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
* Treat patients with co-morbidities and complex long-term healthcare requirements.
* Interpret laboratory findings and diagnostic investigations.
* Develop individualised treatment and chronic disease management plans.
* Manage diabetes, hypertension, obesity and cardiovascular risk factors.
* Promote preventive healthcare through screening and patient education.
* Maintain accurate clinical notes and medical records.
* Coordinate referrals and treatment with multidisciplinary specialists.
* Contribute to quality improvement activities and continuing medical education.
* Establish lasting relationships with patients in the local community.
Ideal Profile
Applicants must be licensed as a Specialist Internal Medicine Physician by DHA, DOH formerly HAAD or MOH. Previous UAE clinical experience and a strong background in outpatient Internal Medicine are required.
Five years of specialist-level experience is preferred. Candidates must be capable of managing chronic diseases independently, communicating fluently in English and developing a loyal patient base within a community clinic.
Tagalog language skills are essential. Experience serving multicultural populations or managing diabetes, hypertension, obesity and cardiovascular risks would strengthen the application.
