What Does a Specialist Urologist Do?
As a Specialist Urologist at Al-Futtaim HealthHub, you will diagnose and treat urological conditions, provide minimally invasive and advanced treatment options, and work collaboratively within a multispecialty team to ensure high-quality patient care.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Provide expert consultation and treatment for urological conditions
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures including ultrasound, X-ray, and lab tests
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Collaborate with radiology, pharmacy, and other specialists
- Educate patients on health maintenance, treatment options, and preventive care
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement in patient care delivery
- Adhere to the regulatory requirements and standards set by the DHA
What Qualifications and Experience Are Required?
Education:
- MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Postgraduate qualification in Urology (recognized by DHA or MOH UAE)
- Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or eligibility
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a specialist role
- Demonstrated competence in all aspects of urological diagnosis and treatment
Certifications:
- Valid BLS and ALS certifications
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient-focused approach
- Team collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting
