Position Overview
Jumeirah Burj Al Arab is seeking a qualified Assistant Engineering Manager to oversee the Building Management System (BMS) operations within our iconic hotel in Dubai. This role ensures optimal functionality of HVAC, lighting, and facility controls while aligning with luxury hospitality standards and energy-efficiency goals.

What You’ll Do
* Manage programming and day-to-day administration of the Building Management System, ensuring precise temperature and facility controls
* Plan and implement BMS system upgrades, integrating new hardware and software for enhanced building automation and energy efficiency
* Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems using BMS data
* Monitor system performance and recommend changes to reduce operational costs and improve guest comfort
* Analyze real-time data from BMS to identify inconsistencies, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement
* Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies in line with Jumeirah Group’s world-class service expectations
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or engineering roles within the hospitality sector
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced), with exposure to BMS platforms and controls
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
* International experience or familiarity with global hospitality standards preferred
