About the Role
The Assistant Manager - Social Media will help bring the energy and experiences of Aquaventure World to social audiences through timely, creative and
platform-relevant content.
This is an active production role rather than a desk-focused social media position. You will work throughout the waterpark, capturing events, activations and spontaneous moments while collaborating with lifeguards, operational colleagues, events teams and other areas of the business.
What You\'ll Do
* Develop fresh, trend-led ideas specifically suited to social media platforms.
* Create platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram and relevant emerging channels.
* Film and edit social-first content from concept through final execution.
* Capture live moments, events, activations and guest experiences across Aquaventure World.
* Follow current social media trends, formats, sounds and emerging platforms.
* Identify relevant trends and turn them into creative opportunities for the brand.
* Work closely with lifeguards, operations, events and wider business teams to capture authentic content.
* Respond quickly to real-time content opportunities in a fast-moving environment.
* Create material that reflects the energy and excitement of the waterpark while encouraging audience engagement.
About You
You bring strong creative instincts and a clear understanding of how content performs on TikTok, Instagram and evolving social platforms. You can take an idea from initial concept through filming and editing, with particularly strong mobile content-production skills.
You should be proactive, culturally aware and comfortable spotting opportunities as they happen. Confidence and an outgoing communication style are important because the role involves working with a diverse range of teams and personalities.
The working environment is highly active, so you should also be comfortable creating content outdoors, around water and during live events.
