About the Role
As Assistant Operations Manager, you will help oversee the efficient daily operation of the In Room Dining department. Your responsibilities combine
hands-on operational leadership with team development and careful attention to guest satisfaction.
You will work to ensure company procedures and service standards are consistently implemented while supporting the department\'s financial and operational objectives.
In Room Dining Operations
* Assist the Operations Manager with the daily management of In Room Dining.
* Support an efficient and profitable departmental operation.
* Coordinate employee schedules according to operational requirements.
* Ensure company standard operating procedures, policies and procedures are consistently followed.
* Help control and minimize operating costs.
* Maintain a hands-on management presence throughout daily operations.
* Support consistent delivery of luxury In Room Dining service.
* Maintain a strong focus on overall guest satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Development
* Train and develop team members to support operational and service standards.
* Provide practical leadership and guidance during daily activities.
* Help create an environment that supports colleague retention.
* Motivate team members while maintaining accountability for established procedures.
* Work closely with the Operations Manager to maintain effective team performance.
About You
Candidates should have a minimum of three to five years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment. Previous international experience is preferred.
Strong team leadership and customer focus are essential. You should be comfortable working under pressure and bring a practical, hands-on management style suited to a demanding luxury Food and Beverage operation.
