Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and serve premium coffee beverages including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks
* Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality of every coffee crafted
* Operate and maintain coffee equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
* Provide warm, welcoming, and professional customer service
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee station and bar area
* Accurately handle cash and card transactions using POS systems
* Assist in restocking inventory, checking expiry dates, and rotating stock
* Contribute to a friendly and collaborative team environment
* Stay updated with global coffee trends and local customer preferences
* Adapt to fast-paced service and high-volume customer periods

Job Requirements

* Proven experience as a barista in a hotel, café, or upscale restaurant
* Deep knowledge of espresso-based drink preparation and latte art
* Familiarity with Dubai’s coffee culture and hospitality standards
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
* Proficiency in English; additional languages (especially Arabic) are a plus
* Flexible with shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays
* Barista certification preferred
* Must have food safety and hygiene knowledge
* Physical ability to stand for long hours and lift moderate weights
* Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude
