What You’ll Do
• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, and specialty beverages with consistency and high quality.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
• Provide professional, friendly service to guests by taking orders and answering menu-related queries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, following hygiene and food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with accuracy.
• Assist in inventory control and ensure stock rotation.
• Stay informed about coffee trends, brewing techniques, and seasonal offerings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth café operations during peak times.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, incorporating knowledge of Dubai’s coffee culture and customer preferences.
Ideal Profile
• Previous experience as a Barista in high-end cafés, hotels, or restaurants.
• Strong skills in coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and latte art.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in handling and maintaining coffee equipment.
• Food safety and hygiene certification as per UAE standards.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically fit to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
