Job Overview – Beverage Service and Guest Engagement
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages while maintaining high service standards, cleanliness, and guest engagement. You\'ll contribute to a memorable bar experience by delivering expertly crafted drinks, recommending premium products, and building rapport with guests. The ideal candidate will have a background in luxury hospitality and strong product knowledge across spirits, cocktails, and bar operations.
What You’ll Do
* Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards
* Set up and restock the bar station with garnishes, glassware, supplies, and requisitions
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and bar organization at all times
* Handle guest inquiries and provide drink recommendations using upselling techniques
* Engage guests with professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service
* Maintain stock levels, monitor spoilage, and reduce beverage wastage
* Accurately process billing and cashiering according to hotel procedures
* Support team training and assist new hires with on-the-job coaching
* Participate in monthly and quarterly inventory checks of bar equipment and stock
* Comply with all HACCP standards and safety regulations during bar operations
* Collaborate with banquet and events departments when assigned to special functions
* Flexibly support other food and beverage areas as needed
Ideal Profile – Skilled and Personable Bartenders
* 1–2 years bartending experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel or upscale restaurant
* Diploma or vocational certification in hospitality preferred
* Excellent knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beverage trends, and bar tools
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage international guests professionally
* Clean, well-groomed appearance and strong personal hygiene
* Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask under pressure
* Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail
* Full compliance with HACCP food safety standards and local regulations
