The Butler manages the practical and personal details that shape a luxury suite stay. By gathering guest preferences, coordinating departments, and remaining attentive to changing requirements, the role creates a
seamless experience while protecting privacy and maintaining the highest service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect and maintain accurate information about guest preferences and requirements.
* Review arrival details and prepare personalized service arrangements.
* Confirm that each assigned suite is ready according to the guest\'s expectations.
* Welcome guests personally at the Porte Cochere.
* Escort arriving guests directly to their suites.
* Conduct in-room check-in efficiently and discreetly.
* Present suite features, services, amenities, and resort facilities.
* Arrange guest luggage and personal belongings according to individual preferences.
* Anticipate needs and provide assistance before requests become necessary.
* Prepare clothing and personal items for laundry or dry-cleaning services.
* Coordinate collection, processing, and return of guest garments.
* Develop guest agendas and daily schedules.
* Arrange restaurant bookings, leisure activities, transport, and other reservations.
* Communicate itinerary details and special requirements to relevant departments.
* Follow up on requests to ensure accurate and timely completion.
* Update guest-preference records when new information becomes available.
* Respond calmly and creatively when plans or requirements change.
* Handle personal information and belongings with care and confidentiality.
* Maintain clear communication with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Laundry, and dining teams.
* Support departure arrangements and provide a thoughtful farewell experience.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
* Minimum 2 years of professional butler experience.
* Previous experience within a luxury hotel, resort, residence, or comparable environment.
* Strong command of written and spoken English.
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
* Able to manage several detailed guest requests simultaneously.
* Warm, positive, and naturally attentive to guest preferences.
* Strategic thinker with creativity and practical judgment.
* Thorough and methodical when handling arrangements and personal belongings.
* Willing to complete hands-on service tasks when required.
* Flexible and able to respond effectively to rapid changes.
