In this role, you will oversee the pastry section, ensuring high-quality production of desserts, cakes, breads, and pastries, while maintaining creativity, precision, and compliance with food safety standards. You will also guide junior pastry staff, support recipe innovation, and contribute to delivering an exceptional guest dining experience.

What You’ll Do
* Produce a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts following standardized recipes and quality standards.
* Support recipe development and seasonal menu innovation in collaboration with the Head Pastry Chef.
* Supervise and coordinate junior pastry chefs, ensuring smooth daily operations in the section.
* Maintain strict quality control, conducting taste and presentation checks to uphold guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other kitchen sections for efficient food production and timing.
* Enforce food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with regulations.
* Manage pastry inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate supply orders.
* Train and mentor junior staff to develop pastry skills and maintain consistency in preparation.
What You’ll Need
* Proven pastry experience (commis to demi to pastry chef roles).
* Expertise in classic and modern pastries, breads, chocolates, and plated desserts.
* Creativity for recipe development and seasonal event offerings.
* Strong organizational skills, precision, and artistic flair in presentation.
* Ability to handle pastry equipment and maintain kitchen safety.
* Team leadership and training ability.
