Role Context
The Cluster Revenue Manager provides the analysis and commercial direction required to improve revenue per available room
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio responsibility includes forecasting, pricing, distribution, system governance and the development of junior revenue professionals.
* Develop and implement revenue strategies for a portfolio of three or four hotels.
* Prepare topline revenue forecasts using booking pace, demand and market data.
* Identify incremental profit opportunities across rooms and other revenue-generating departments.
* Monitor competitor pricing, market movements and changes in customer demand.
* Adjust pricing and inventory strategies according to current and forecasted conditions.
* Lead weekly and biweekly Revenue Management meetings.
* Present performance findings, commercial risks and recommended actions to hotel stakeholders.
* Conduct regular property-performance reviews and evaluate progress against revenue targets.
* Optimize room availability, restrictions, rates and channel allocation.
* Improve market share within each hotel\'s defined competitive set.
* Ensure reservations activities are controlled and coordinated effectively.
* Collaborate with the Reservations team on inventory accuracy and booking procedures.
* Work with Sales, Finance and Front Office teams to achieve agreed commercial goals.
* Use property, revenue and distribution systems to improve revenue per available room.
* Evaluate online travel agency production and distribution-network performance.
* Manage the channel mix to balance reach, revenue and acquisition costs.
* Monitor hotel website performance and direct online sales opportunities.
* Maintain data accuracy across Revenue Management and Distribution applications.
* Protect system hygiene by correcting incomplete, inconsistent or outdated information.
* Ensure hotel teams use approved commercial platforms and tools effectively.
* Mentor junior employees in pricing, forecasting and revenue-analysis practices.
* Provide coaching that improves analytical confidence and commercial decision-making.
* Prepare clear reports for revenue meetings, performance reviews and strategic planning.
* Track implemented actions and measure their effect on revenue and profitability.
Ideal Profile
Applicants should hold a bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline. Three to five years of experience in hotel revenue management, reservations or e-commerce is required, with previous responsibility for complex pricing or multi-property performance preferred.
The successful candidate will understand property management systems, revenue management systems, central reservation systems, channel managers and online travel agencies. Strong forecasting, yield-management and digital-distribution knowledge is essential, together with fluency in English. Additional languages are advantageous.
