What You’ll Do
Follow the Departmental Operations Manual to ensure efficient kitchen operations in line with hotel policies.
Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes, maintaining consistency and taste.
Support outlet identity by adhering to presentation and plating standards.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment at all times.
Operate all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in implementing food safety and hygiene procedures, including HACCP compliance.
Coordinate with team members to resolve operational challenges.
Attend regular briefings and adapt to operational changes as required.
Stay updated on industry trends, new recipes, and cooking techniques.
Ideal Profile
Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a hotel or similar environment.
Strong understanding of cooking, baking, and grilling techniques.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Quick learner with adaptability to new cooking methods and menu changes.
