Role Summary
The Commis Chef – Accor Dubai will support the culinary team by preparing high-quality dishes in line with hotel standards. This role includes maintaining cleanliness, following recipes, assisting in food presentation, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. What You’ll Do
* Follow departmental standards and hotel policies to ensure efficient kitchen operations
* Assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to meet outlet requirements
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
* Ensure recipes and cooking procedures are followed at all times
* Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to maximize efficiency
* Support the implementation of HACCP and Dubai Municipality hygiene regulations
* Collaborate with team members to resolve operational challenges
* Participate in regular kitchen briefings and team meetings
* Adapt to changes in food and beverage requirements as directed by management
Ideal Profile
* Basic cooking skills with a passion for culinary excellence
* Previous kitchen experience in hospitality is an advantage
* Knowledge of food preparation methods, recipes, and presentation standards
* Strong awareness of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP procedures
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail
* Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
