The Corporate Sales Manager transforms market opportunities into profitable room-night production and sustainable client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
The position manages the complete corporate sales cycle, from prospect identification and initial engagement to contract renewal and account expansion.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly sales strategies for the corporate market segment.
* Identify qualified business prospects through market research, networking and targeted outreach.
* Build relationships with corporate decision-makers and convert opportunities into active accounts.
* Manage an assigned portfolio of clients, including account profiling, contracting and renewals.
* Conduct site inspections and business meetings that present the hotels\' rooms, facilities and services.
* Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing corporate relationships.
* Negotiate pricing, volume commitments and commercial terms while protecting profitability.
* Deliver agreed sales targets, room-night production and revenue objectives.
* Monitor account activity and take corrective action when performance falls below expectations.
* Analyze corporate travel trends, competitor activity and changes in the Dubai business market.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly reports covering account production, average rates and sales performance.
* Provide management with practical market intelligence and recommendations for future campaigns.
* Represent the hotels at trade shows, industry events and local business functions.
* Maintain accurate sales activities, client records and opportunity stages in the CRM platform.
* Mentor sales colleagues and contribute to a focused, accountable and supportive team environment.
* Communicate business leads, market developments and strategic recommendations to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
* Coordinate with Reservations, Revenue, Operations and Marketing to deliver accurate client solutions.
Ideal Profile
Applicants should hold a bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may also be considered. A minimum of three years of successful corporate sales, account management or business development experience is required, preferably within hospitality or business services.
The preferred candidate has a documented record of achieving revenue goals, negotiating commercial agreements and maintaining senior-level client relationships. Familiarity with the Dubai and wider United Arab Emirates business environment will provide a valuable advantage.
