Job Overview
The Director of Corporate Finance will lead strategic financial initiatives across treasury, tax, reporting, and financial controls. This includes ensuring IFRS and GAAP compliance, managing corporate budgets, optimizing funding and liquidity, and safeguarding group legal and regulatory obligations across all operating regions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead corporate finance strategy covering treasury, tax, reporting, and statutory compliance
* Ensure alignment with IFRS and local GAAP across jurisdictions for audit readiness
* Develop standardized internal control and financial reporting procedures
* Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity optimization, and funding structures
* Drive international tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors
* Manage legal entity structures, intercompany financing, and statutory alignment
* Handle planning, budgeting, and cost allocation of group corporate entities
* Collaborate with HQ and regional leadership to implement financial best practices
* Identify opportunities for financial risk mitigation and business efficiency
Governance & Standards
* Ensure statutory, tax, and financial compliance across Europe, Middle East, and other operating regions
* Uphold transparent and timely disclosures for internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain rigorous internal control frameworks across financial processes
Required Skills and Experience
* ACA qualified with 5–8 years post-qualification experience in audit, tax, and statutory accounting
* Background in a global professional services firm and experience in multinational environments
* Strong command of IFRS, international tax frameworks, treasury systems, and budgeting
* Proven track record in corporate finance roles in luxury hospitality, retail, or FMCG
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (ACA or CPA preferred)
* Proficiency in Oracle ERP and advanced Excel for financial modeling and reporting
* Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills
