Electrician - Hotel Maintenance and Facilities (Accor Dubai)
Role Summary
Accor is hiring a skilled Electrician to join the Engineering and Maintenance team at one of our prestigious properties in Dubai. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting across the hotel complex. You’ll ensure the smooth functioning of all systems while upholding safety standards and supporting emergency preparedness. What You’ll Do
* Execute all assigned electrical work to the highest professional standard for hotel facilities and systems
* Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs with minimal supervision
* Respond promptly to electrical issues and guest requests involving lighting, sockets, control panels, etc.
* Monitor and manage electrical stock, tools, and materials, placing orders when needed
* Follow daily job schedules and ensure timely completion of all tasks
* Support new project openings and participate in task force initiatives as required
* Maintain readiness for emergency interventions in line with hotel safety procedures
* Understand and follow all technical documentation, operational guidelines, and safety regulations
* Assist other maintenance and engineering team members during cross-functional tasks
* Perform additional duties as assigned by engineering supervisors or management
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or certified training in Electrical Engineering or related trade
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar electrician role, preferably in a hospitality or facilities environment
* Sound knowledge of electrical systems, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques
* Ability to communicate effectively in English and work independently under pressure
* Familiarity with hotel operational standards and a commitment to guest satisfaction
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and service-minded individual
