Job Overview
As an Engineering Technician at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operational readiness of hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical equipment, and preventive maintenance programs. This role requires hands-on experience, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude in maintaining five-star standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Install and maintain electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
* Perform preventive maintenance on tools, appliances, and hotel equipment
* Inspect and calibrate meters, gauges, and control systems
* Maintain logs for inventory, purchase orders, and maintenance records
* Ensure proper safety procedures and use of protective equipment
* Assist in guest service needs through efficient repair solutions
* Operate power lifts and move objects up to 75 pounds
* Support hotel efficiency through process improvement suggestions
* Follow all safety, security, and property protection policies

Job Requirements

* Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
* 4 to 6 years of related engineering or facility maintenance experience
* Valid Driver’s License required
* Physically fit with ability to lift and maneuver equipment
* Knowledge of hotel systems, HVAC, electrical panels, and safety compliance
* Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
