What You’ll Do
* Supervise and inspect setup of function rooms according to guest specifications and hotel standards.
* Lead, train, and develop team members and casual staff across events operations.
* Conduct banquet briefings, allocate staff, and manage service standards during events.
* Monitor event operations, ensuring compliance with grooming, attendance, and performance standards.
* Communicate effectively across departments to coordinate logistics and guest requirements.
* Manage administration tasks including reviewing BEOs, monitoring change logs, and maintaining operational documentation.
* Provide excellent guest interaction, handle complaints professionally, and promote hotel services.
* Ensure cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house and back-of-house event areas.
* Support cost control, efficient resource allocation, and guest satisfaction strategies.
* Oversee post-event debriefs, staff assignments, and reporting.
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a 5-star property.
* Strong communication, planning, and analytical skills.
* Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
* Time management skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Delphi and Micros is advantageous.
* High school diploma required; a college or university degree preferred.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
