Description
The F&B Server contributes directly to the guest dining experience by preparing the outlet for service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, processing transactions correctly, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the assigned station.
A strong knowledge of the outlet menu is essential, along with the ability to follow established service, presentation, point-of-sale, and brand procedures throughout each shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items available on the outlet menu.
- Prepare the outlet for daily operations, including mise-en-place, table setting and resetting, light cleaning, and other assigned preparation tasks.
- Welcome guest requests professionally and take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Identify appropriate opportunities to upsell menu items.
- Operate the outlet point-of-sale system according to prescribed procedures.
- Ensure all sales are correctly recorded.
- Follow established procedures when ordering, voiding, or correcting items within the point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
- Clear tables efficiently and transfer used dishes to the designated dish area.
- Complete assigned opening and closing duties.
- Respond flexibly where possible to guest requests involving particular ingredients or food and beverage preparation methods.
- Follow presentation guidelines established by the Food and Beverage Manager.
- Keep the assigned station or section clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Follow required company minimum brand standards and applicable optional brand standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in a similar luxury hotel or established restaurant environment.
- Passion for hospitality with an energetic and engaging approach to service.
- Must already be based in the United Arab Emirates.
- Fluent English speaker.
