Role Summary
The Finishing Carpenter – QE2 Hotel Dubai will be responsible for performing detailed carpentry, joinery, and finishing works across the historic floating hotel. From repairs and installations to decorative finishes, this role ensures that the QE2 maintains its high standards of craftsmanship, elegance, and safety, directly enhancing the guest experience on board.

What You’ll Do
* Carry out carpentry works including installation, repair, and maintenance of doors, furniture, partitions, and fixtures
* Perform finishing works such as polishing, varnishing, painting, and decorative surface treatments
* Handle gypsum-related tasks including ceiling repairs and partition installations
* Collaborate with the engineering team on renovation and maintenance projects across the property
* Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve carpentry issues promptly while maintaining safety standards
* Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and in safe working condition
Ideal Profile
* Previous experience as a finishing carpenter, ideally in hospitality, cruise, or luxury residential projects
* Strong skills in joinery, carpentry techniques, and use of finishing materials
* Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship with a hands-on approach
* Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to hotel operational needs
* Team-oriented, with a commitment to quality and safety standards
