Role Summary
IHG Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join the Room Service team at Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Festival City. In this role, you will oversee daily in-room dining operations, ensuring smooth service, compliance with standards, and guest satisfaction. You will also provide leadership to the team, manage cash handling, and support menu development, contributing to the overall success of the hotel’s food and beverage operations.

What You’ll Do
* Conduct shift briefings in the absence of a manager to communicate hotel activities and priorities
* Supervise cash handling, banking procedures, and prepare daily cash flow reports
* Resolve guest complaints during shift and document issues for follow-up
* Oversee the maintenance of service equipment and stock control procedures
* Monitor standards of guest facilities, services, and minibar operations
* Inspect storage areas to ensure proper organization and adherence to FIFO standards
* Support the creation of menus and wine lists with the management team
* Supervise in-room dining service, ensuring timely and professional delivery
* Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to maintain high performance
Ideal Profile
* At least 1 year of supervisory experience in food and beverage within a 5-star hotel
* High school diploma required; a college or university degree is an advantage
* Strong communication and guest service skills in English; additional languages are a plus
* Ability to plan, analyze, and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure
* Proficient in basic Microsoft Word and Excel
* Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts
* Ability to work independently as well as lead a team environment
