Front Desk Agent - Guest Services - Dubai

Position Overview

Join the hospitality team at Sofitel Dubai as a Front Desk Agent, where you will be the face of our luxury service and the first point of contact for our guests. This guest-facing role is key to delivering an exceptional check-in and check-out experience while ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and personalized stay. Located in the heart of Dubai, this opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about guest service, hotel operations, and front office administration.

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out procedures
* Manage room allocations, guest folios, payment processes, and hotel system records (Fidelio/PMS)
* Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest room requests and VIP preferences
* Handle inquiries, special requests, and complaints with a focus on guest satisfaction and service recovery
* Monitor room availability and communicate updates to relevant teams
* Promote hotel offerings, loyalty programs, and upsell opportunities during guest interactions
* Ensure compliance with all CID, immigration, and financial procedures
* Maintain daily logs, follow checklists, and attend line-up briefings with the front office team

Candidate Requirements

* 1-2 years’ experience in a guest-facing front office role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
* Working knowledge of hotel management systems (e.g., Fidelio, Opera)
* Excellent communication skills and a guest-centric mindset
* Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Team player with a positive attitude and high professional standards
* Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
