Front Desk Agent – InterContinental Dubai Festival City – Dubai, UAE

Position Overview
The Front Desk Agent role at InterContinental Dubai Festival City is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in delivering a warm, professional, and seamless arrival and departure experience. This position supports front office operations within a large-scale luxury hospitality cluster in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome guests on arrival and provide a professional, friendly, and efficient check-in experience
* Handle guest check-outs accurately, ensuring billing and payment procedures are completed correctly
* Manage room allocations, guest profiles, and reservations using hotel systems
* Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns
* Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth guest stays
* Maintain accurate records and update guest information in the system
* Handle cash, billing adjustments, and foreign currency transactions in line with procedures
* Promote hotel services, facilities, and dining outlets to enhance the guest experience
* Follow front office standard operating procedures and brand service standards
* Ensure guest privacy, data confidentiality, and security procedures are upheld at all times

Ideal Profile

* Previous experience in front office or guest services within a hotel environment is preferred
* Friendly, confident, and professional communication style
* Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
* Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
* Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel systems is a plus
* Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
