Guest Relations Officer

Step into a dynamic role as a Guest Relations Officer at Accor in Kuwait, where you will be the key point of contact for guests, ensuring exceptional hospitality and memorable experiences. You will manage guest requests, resolve complaints, and coordinate with multiple departments to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Address all requests, problems, and needs of guests, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Listen attentively to guests, handle complaints effectively, and provide customer-oriented solutions.
- Coordinate with the Front Office team to greet check-in guests and follow up during their stay.
- Conduct daily “Guest Contacts” to gauge satisfaction and address complaints or suggestions.
- Record guest feedback in the “Through Our Guests’ Eyes” report and follow up on actions taken.
- Organize special arrangements for guest occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or special requests.
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure seamless communication and information flow.
- Manage special orders, including cakes, flowers, babysitter services, and reservations.
- Follow VIP procedures to greet and bid farewell to VIP guests.
- Prepare written communication for events and distribute them to guest rooms.
- Monitor guest satisfaction during activities and events, reporting feedback to management.
- Assist with lost and found items, ensuring prompt return to guests.
- Provide guidance for health-related issues and coordinate medical assistance if required.
- Support hotel sales by promoting charged services and handling guest inquiries.
- Participate in training programs and internal communication meetings to stay updated on hotel services.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is required; knowledge of Turkish is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- High level of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with guest profiles and ability to provide personalized service.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Front Office systems (e.g., Opera).
- Experience in training and guiding less experienced team members.
