The Guest Room Valet directly supports guest comfort, room readiness, cleanliness, and safety. The position services allocated accommodation and maintains corridors, pantries, staircases, and
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and suites.
* Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, amenities, and other room supplies.
* Make beds and arrange rooms according to resort presentation standards.
* Inspect completed rooms for cleanliness, functionality, and attention to detail.
* Report maintenance problems, damage, lost property, and unusual conditions.
* Maintain assigned corridors, pantries, staircases, and lift landings.
* Keep housekeeping supplies organized and available for daily operations.
* Handle mobile suppliers and mobile collectors according to resort procedures.
* Move equipment carefully to prevent damage to corridors, walls, doors, and furnishings.
* Use housekeeping machinery and cleaning equipment safely.
* Maintain a hazard-free environment while completing assigned work.
* Follow chemical-handling, hygiene, health, and safety requirements.
* Respond appropriately to routine guest requests.
* Respect guest privacy and secure rooms during servicing.
* Coordinate with supervisors regarding room status and operational priorities.
* Complete allocated rooms within required time and quality expectations.
* Support colleagues during high occupancy and demanding operating periods.
* Maintain professional behavior in guest-facing areas.
Ideal Profile
* High school diploma or relevant vocational training is preferred.
* Minimum 1 year of housekeeping, room-attendant, or comparable experience.
* Previous hotel or resort experience is advantageous.
* Physically fit and comfortable performing active duties throughout the shift.
* Willing to handle cleaning activities and housekeeping equipment.
* Strong attention to cleanliness, room presentation, and small details.
* Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Good English communication skills.
* Capable of following room-cleaning procedures and safety instructions.
* Reliable, hardworking, and respectful of guest privacy.
* Flexible regarding shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
* Able to work independently and contribute to the wider housekeeping team.
