Hostess – Vignette Collection – Dubai, UAERole Summary
Vignette Collection Dubai is seeking a professional and guest-focused Hostess to join its food and beverage team. As the first and last point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm and memorable dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage reservations while ensuring smooth restaurant operations.

What You’ll Do
* Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring an exceptional first impression
* Manage reservations and distribute them fairly among servers according to the floor plan
* Handle phone inquiries politely and provide accurate information
about menus, promotions, and special events
* Record and manage special requests such as VIP, birthdays, and anniversaries
* Support servers and runners when required to ensure seamless service delivery
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, following hotel hygiene and HACCP standards
* Take responsibility for cashiering duties as required
* Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to feedback and escalating complaints to supervisors when necessary
* Provide general information about the restaurant and the city to assist guests with their dining experience
* Deliver a courteous farewell to all departing guests to leave a lasting positive impression
Ideal Profile
* Previous customer service experience required; prior F&B experience is an advantage
* Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written; Arabic is a plus
* Familiarity with reservation platforms such as Open Table is an asset
* Pro Serve certification required
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset
* Responsible, reliable, and able to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays
