Position Overview
voco Dubai Palm, part of the IHG Hotels family, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join its team at the vibrant Palm West Beach location. This role is central to ensuring guest rooms and public areas are impeccably clean, comfortable, and welcoming, maintaining the IHG Way of Clean standards and creating a relaxing environment for guests.
Core Duties
* Attend daily shift briefings and collect work assignment sheet and keys
* Organize and maintain housekeeping trolley with linen, amenities, and supplies
* Clean guest rooms according to IHG Way of Clean standards, ensuring linens are spotless and well-presented
* Complete Room Check-List for
each room and report maintenance issues or room discrepancies immediately
* Handle lost and found items responsibly, following hotel policy
* Keep linen rooms and guest corridors clean and organized at all times
* Perform special housekeeping tasks as instructed, such as mattress turning and curtain hanging
* Use housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently, minimizing wastage of supplies and chemicals
* Follow hotel fire safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
* Provide guests with accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and promotions
* Return keys to Housekeeping Office and sign off duty at shift end
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum one year of experience in a similar housekeeping role
* Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for excellent service
* Strong teamwork skills and flexibility to handle various housekeeping tasks
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
