Job Overview
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing room assignments, inspecting guest areas for cleanliness, and assisting with team development. You will help maintain the resort’s high standards while ensuring operational efficiency and delivering a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect cleaned rooms to ensure guest-ready conditions and report any deficiencies
* Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity of housekeeping staff
* Complete and review housekeeping paperwork, checklists, and digital entries
* Respond to guest requests promptly and follow company procedures for entering rooms
* Support training, motivation, and performance evaluation of team members
* Enforce health and safety procedures and assist in maintaining workplace safety
* Operate housekeeping equipment and carts efficiently and safely
* Communicate clearly and professionally with both guests and internal departments
* Assist with inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies
Job Requirements
* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
* Minimum of 1 year of relevant housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel
* Good physical condition and ability to lift and move heavy items as required
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
* Detail-oriented with strong communication and leadership skills
* Comfortable using basic computer systems for reporting and task tracking
