The Kids Club Attendant combines childcare responsibilities with hotel recreation and guest service. Every session must be engaging for children while remaining carefully controlled through registration checks, active supervision, hygiene practices, and health and safety procedures.
The position supports the Rixos Children program and helps differentiate the hotel as a family-friendly destination. Fresh activity ideas inspired by local culture and available attractions can increase participation, strengthen parent confidence, and improve the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the smooth daily operation of the Kids Club.
* Welcome children and their parents or guardians in a friendly, reassuring manner.
* Provide a safe, positive, and interactive environment for participating children.
* Plan original games, crafts, cultural experiences, and recreational activities for different age groups.
* Lead approved indoor and outdoor activities with enthusiasm and professionalism.
* Participate in games and entertainment rather than supervising from a distance.
* Introduce new program ideas that reflect the destination and suit the hotel\'s family audience.
* Help implement the Rixos Children program according to established standards.
* Confirm that external activity providers meet expected safety and service requirements.
* Maintain complete knowledge of the hotel\'s facilities, products, services, and family offerings.
* Explain Kids Club programs, operating hours, and participation requirements accurately.
Child safety must remain the first priority throughout every activity and interaction.
* Maintain continuous supervision of all children assigned to the Kids Club.
* Ensure each child remains within the designated and secured activity area.
* Confirm that the parent or guardian completes and signs the Kids Club Agreement and Information Form.
* Verify that the adult checking in a child is named on the approved documentation.
* Obtain the required parent or guardian signature at both check-in and check-out.
* Release children only to properly verified and authorized individuals.
* Page or contact a parent or guardian when personal care, behavioural, or disciplinary support is required.
* Attend appropriately to children\'s reasonable personal needs within hotel procedures.
* Report health concerns immediately to the Recreation Manager.
* Support the issue of a health alert when required by hotel policy.
* Follow all applicable childcare, emergency, security, and health and safety procedures.
* Record incidents and unusual concerns accurately for management review.
A clean and well-organized environment is essential for safe recreation.
* Clean and disinfect toys, games, equipment, and frequently touched surfaces.
