The Kids Club Counselor - Childcare will help deliver fun, safe, and enriching experiences for children visiting a world-class resort environment. The position requires a caring personality, confident guest interaction, strong supervision skills, and the ability to keep children engaged through imaginative activities, games, themed events, and age-appropriate programs. The role contributes directly to guest satisfaction by ensuring children enjoy memorable moments while parents feel confident in the quality and safety of the service.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome children and families warmly while creating a positive first impression of the Kids Club experience.
* Supervise children during play sessions, activities, themed programs, games, crafts, and recreational events.
* Lead age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, confidence, and safe participation.
* Support Kids Club programs by preparing activity spaces, materials, games, toys, and themed event setups.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in line with resort procedures and childcare standards.
* Engage children with energy, patience, and care while adapting activities to different ages and personalities.
* Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding activities, schedules, safety guidelines, and child wellbeing.
* Assist with guest registration, attendance tracking, activity coordination, and daily operational records.
* Monitor children closely during all activities and respond quickly to any safety, comfort, or behavior concerns.
* Work with team members and lead counselors to deliver smooth, lively, and well-managed Kids Club operations.
* Support special themed events, birthday activities, seasonal programs, and family-focused entertainment experiences.
* Follow hygiene, security, emergency, and child protection procedures at all times.
* Represent the resort with professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine care in every guest interaction.
Ideal Profile
* Previous experience in a kids club, childcare center, family entertainment venue, nursery, school activity program, recreation team, or luxury hospitality environment.
* Confident ability to interact with children in a fun, responsible, and engaging manner.
* Strong communication skills with children, parents, colleagues, and resort guests.
