Role Context
The Kids Club
Manager provides the operational structure required to deliver safe, engaging and well-supervised activities for young guests. The role balances child care, employee leadership, parent communication and administrative controls while supporting the hotel\'s wider entertainment program.
Key Responsibilities
Daily management covers staffing, activity planning, safety checks, family registration and incident reporting.
* Perform managerial duties for Kids Club employees according to company policies.
* Support the recruitment of qualified Kids Club Attendants.
* Train employees in child supervision, safety procedures and guest-service expectations.
* Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or corrective guidance.
* Prepare staff schedules within the approved Kids Club budget.
* Confirm that adequate supervision is available during all operating periods.
* Attend departmental and hotel staff meetings.
* Provide daily operational updates to the Assistant Entertainment Manager or Entertainment Manager.
* Escalate unusual situations and request management support when required.
* Complete additional duties assigned by the Entertainment Manager or Director of Entertainment.
* Ensure parents or guardians complete the Kids Club agreement.
* Confirm that emergency contact information is recorded before accepting a child.
* Maintain an accurate attendance register for children entering and leaving the facility.
* Provide parents or guardians with required Kids Club information and policies.
* Verify that applicable Kids Club fees have been paid.
* Inspect the Kids Club area for cleanliness, organization and safety.
* Ensure toys, furniture and activity equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
* Remove damaged or unsafe items from use immediately.
* Protect children\'s safety and follow established supervision procedures.
* Ensure Kids Club employees maintain valid CPR certification for appropriate age groups.
* Document incidents accurately and submit reports according to company policy.
* Support the Entertainment Manager in resolving parent or member concerns.
* Provide attentive care according to each child\'s reasonable needs.
* Contact parents or guardians when personal-care assistance is required.
* Apply appropriate behaviour-management methods while maintaining a caring environment.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate games, creative activities and recreational programs.
* Adapt activities according to children\'s interests, abilities and safety requirements.
* Maintain a friendly, positive and reassuring manner with children and families.
* Inform parents or guardians about their child\'s behaviour and any unusual occurrence.
* Maintain confidentiality when handling information about children and families.
Ideal Profile
Candidates should have two to three years of managerial experience, preferably in a comparable Kids Club position within a 4-star or 5-star hotel. The role requires practical experience supervising employees, communicating with families and organizing children\'s recreational activities.
